Re: Mopar Million Results!!

It's hard to believe it has been 10 years. That was also the day that Quinn took his nasty tumble at Spoon River Speedway in a midget.

Re: Gold Crown Question

October 4th is a MOWA race at the Gold Crown. That should be a really good race and hopefully no repeat of the events of July 25th there.

Re: Spoon River

I hope I have to eat those words. I've been going to this track for 20+ years for the Knowles race and it is a very good track and fun for a driver and fans. It could be one of if not the best track...

Re: Let's Talk About Jacksonville Speedway This Friday Night

Don't forget about the back to back races at Lincoln and Jacksonville that are a week after the Gold Crown date. If there is any way better to end a racing season then the last two shows at those...

Re: Spoon River

$35.00 for a pit pass is a little cashy. If only they had sold to Tony Stewart when they had the chance to, this would be a first rate track. It does need some major renovations and I don't think...

Re: NASCAR facing questions about its integrity?

MWR should go as Flavio and Nelson Piquet Jr how well a stunt like that works for ones career.

There is a first time for everything, right BC?

Brian Clauson added a first to his impressive career Friday night. He won his first winged sprint car race at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, IL. If you missed it, you missed of the greatest...

Re: Silver Crown's 2013

I couldn't agree more with that. This isn't 1960's or 1970's anymore. USAC is a feeder system and has been since the mid 90's. That right there is what needs to be immediately addressed. If...

Re: Let's Talk About Jacksonville Speedway This Friday Night

That was one helluva show last night. Probably the best one I have ever seen at Jacksonville. I was worried early on by the number of red flags that happened. Hopefully tonight is just as good if...

Re: Silver Crown's 2013

Probably the same managers as Ambac Financial Group, Wolverine Tube INC, and American Media INC had. (these all went bankrupt due to inferior management)

Re: Silver Crown's 2013

It would appear that the fuel changes didn't bring about the changes that were hoped for. What now is the next move to get this series growing again?

Re: Let's Talk About Jacksonville Speedway This Friday Night

It would be really nice to see Darland and Clauson at both of these tracks this weekend. This is definitely the can't miss weekend for racing. Got my rooms booked and half a day of work tomorrow. ...

Re: Silver Crown Owners

There weren't 250+ channels out there to divert people's ever changing 2 second attention span. ESPN (then ESPN2) was looking for programming to fill it's lineup. Now they have more then they can...

Re: A new team of promoters will be running Quincy Raceways

The term "can't miss show" is thrown around now so much it has lost it's meaning but THIS WEEKEND is most certainly deserving of that description. I've never seen Jacksonville in this good of shape...

Re: A new team of promoters will be running Quincy Raceways

I 100% agree. Kenny and his whole group are top notch people. I can't think of anything they have done that hasn't been a first rate job. I wish them nothing but the best for 2014 and beyond.

Re: Silver Crown Owners

So lets see if you'll have the ballz to back up that statement. Prove to the IOW community that I haven't went nor bought tickets to a Silver Crown race? Please, the floor is yours to lay your...

Re: Silver Crown Owners

Right here is probably the saddest reality of it all. Is it really beneath him to do that? He doesn't care, he obviously doesn't give a damn about the Silver Crown series or those that drive in it....

Those are the first three things I have seen you post that are actually truthful. Thank you for posting something relevant to the actual reality at hand and not one viewed through rose colored beer...

Also, here is the link to Knoxville's Schedule: http://www.knoxvilleraceway.com/Schedule.aspx I see their next event is Monster Jam on September 20/21. How dare they have that instead of a Silver...

Jonr, you're obviously not a fan or supporter of the Silver Crown series so why comment on these topics?

Re: Silver Crown Owners

Yet you took the time to state that the PRA got no support from the owners (still never answered as to who these "owners" are) and were promptly shot down on that claim.

Not a new problem? ...

Re: Why would any talented driver consider Indycar?

Kanaan is a free agent (KV isn't re-signing him for 2014) and people in Indycar know he has the talent to be a competitive driver. He now has a bargaining ship to use to either secure the 2nd TCGR...

You're so right. They only got 16 lousy cars for this event. Oh wait, they only had 14 for the Ted Horn 100 this year. Oh it's the owners fault...

So I will ask this: Why are you trying to apply logic to this discussion?
