One other thing, with the crap dirt we race on it pretty much turns the honeycomb radiator protector to junk in about 2 races, can I get away with some sort of metal screen to protect radiator from...

Yes sir, one of the tracks we run at I believe is close to 6000 feet above sea level most are around 5000 feet. And our tracks consist of something between dust and pea gravel! Colorado dirt is not...

Anybody have an idea about where to start for gearing with a 08 R1 at the dodge city track? I hear that it is big but ive never been there before. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Dave

So is running an 08 R1 in 3rd gear with a 13 tooth engine gear the same final ratio as running it in 2nd gear with a 14 tooth engine gear? Axle gear at a 49 tooth staying the same with both combos....

No are club rules prohibit **** pit adj. shocks, FABTECHS are built here in northern CO, its a beautiful car, I wish it was worth $180k id sell it today! I do have a good driver that's pretty good...

Well once again you guys nailed my problem, turned LF caliper so bleeder screw was all the way at highest point above master cylinder, dad hit pedal I broke bleeder loose it let out a big fart of air...

So I am finishing up assembling car, got all brake components on, bench bled master cylinder, gravity bled the whole system, held lf caliper above master cylinder bled it all out, cant get any air...

DAD you are a genius! I took battery over to batteries plus they checked it out and it had a dead cell in it, bought a new battery put it in and it fired right up. Thanks a million! Now I can sleep...

That makes sense that I could have smoked battery and probably did, but wouldn't 50 amps be enough to compensate for smoked battery and fire it up while it was connected? Thanks a bunch for input!...
