Happy 4th Birthday in Heaven. Dwight would have been 64 today.
Thank you to Bill Gardner and all the IOW members for remembering my brother.

Russ,

It certainly doesn't seem like that long ago. I really miss Dwight and his knowledgeable responses here on IOW. He was a source of strength and inspiration for me during a very difficult time in my life. Thank you for reminding us today.

I think of him often as I still have one of the stickers on my truck and motorhome that Bill provided. Many people ask me who Dwight Clock was? It is always my pleasure to tell them all about him. RIP Dwight.

I sure do miss his informative posts. He was a voice of reason when things would get off track. I never met him, but felt like I had known him for years. The world could use more DC's.

I too miss Dwight!

He loved racing!! It didn't matter what type of car it was or when the racing was so loud it woke him up in the morning. He was one of good guys and had a great sense of humor!

Good morning Clermont! posted August 29th, 2008

Like Mike, I have a decal on my truck that remembers Dwight. If Heaven has a bench racing department, I'd guess that Dwight is right there, telling stories, laughing and seeing that the others are enjoying it as well.

One thing that I'll always remember about Dwight, Russ, is that even though he had many health challenges in his last handful of years, he was always more interested in talking about how I was doing. And racing. He sure knew a lot about that. If you wanted to find out how he was doing healthwise, you almost had to beat it out of him. I still miss Dwight here on IOW and talking to him at the track, too.

Dwight was one of the first IOW members I met and I enjoyed spending time with him at many race tracks. His racing knowledge was vast and he was a genuinely nice person. Happy birthday, Dwight!
