Erica does have talent.

I would like to see the Santos clan make a trecks this way a couple times this year

I think if Erica ran a season of regional midgets and Mt. Lawn midgets she would make some major progress and turn even more heads

I had the understanding that the rectum was always a one-per-customer deal. While I do have one of those 3-digit-IQs mentioned by Dean, I never took any anatomy classes in my 14+ years of formal education. However, reading many of the posts on this board convinces me that there is an excess of a$$holes out there.

I care. I think it's a good deal for the sport. After so many bad years for open wheel cars, I am glad to see the tide actually starting to turn positive.

I think that a kid that grew up playing in the dirt at places like Sun Prarie deserves a little bit of a free pass when it comes to dirt slinging cred. Maybe she didn't race midgets there, but her dad did some midget racing. (There is a photo of them at one of her Go-Kart races and he is wearing a Belleville Nationals T-Shirt.) She also did quite a bit of oval kart racing at the Indy Velodrome when they had televised races from there. Maybe her path didn't include Sprints and Midgets, but she knew the directions to find it if she needed to.

I would say that out of everyone here there are maybe only a handful who have ever met her and maybe one that actually knows her. I agree that her personality seems to be a little bland and we haven't seen fit- throwing tantrums like hers since A.J.(No one is really going to argue with me on that one are you? C'mon now.), but she could be one of the coolest people around. Unless you know her or she proves otherwise, how can any of us know?

Who but a handful knew what a nightmare Little Al was? To the public eye he was Opie, but when using he became more like a combo of Otis and Ernest T. Bass.

I am not saying that I haven't or don't do the same thing to other celebrities, but unless you really know someone, can we really judge who they are?(Although I do think that Britney Spears is basically a closed case. The wedding dress and fake English accent served as final evidence)

I don't know too much about the Santos girl, but I think with some work and seat time that Stephanie Mockler could be great as well.

Stephanie was improving with every race then she signed with East and I think her advancement has stalled.

I do not know if it is cause she is off to college, her contract with Ford and East or the lack of funds to field her own stuff but I would love to see Stephanie race more including back to sprints and dirt

Isn't she probably the most sponsored driver in all of open wheel? You probably just know more than they do. I have seen many emotional drivers in victory lane. A lot of them are the ones who didn't have imeadiate sucess, but were persistant, and suceeded.

:applaud:

I thought it was refreshing to see some genuine emotion from a winning driver, instead of what's become the standard Victory Lane robo-speech...
