Danica win in Japan
Well she finally won her race.
So lets see what this does for the sport! :dologob: after thought? What will this do for TV rating on Sunday's replay??? What will DeSpain say??? |
Re: Danica win in Japan
I saw it coming if it went all green after the last pit stop... just afraid she was gonna run out on the last lap.

Pretty cool!
Last race a 19 year old this race the first female winner. :applaud::checkered: |
Re: Danica win in Japan
Fuel played a part, BUT that was no gift win. She ran in the top 10 most of the time. Strategy is part of it. I'm glad she won because I'm tried of hearing about it. It's pretty huge for the sport so I'd look for her on the talk show scene this week in full force.

Re: Danica win in Japan
It's a great day for Danica , Andretti-Green , the newly unified series and Danica's many fans !
Danica has often not helped her causes as a female racer who commands much attention , scrutiny and criticism. She has at times forgotten that cameras are everywhere recording those little temper tantrum's. She has lacked charisma in interviews and has appeared to be absent of a personality the public expects. She has at times responded poorly to her own fans , appearing annoyed at the endless requests for autographs. Danica is a talented driver , extremely focused to the task at hand and takes it all very seriously. And she should , as Danica risks her life to parttake in this activity and pursue goals and accomplishments important to her. Danica has done the work to get to this moment in time ... and this is for her , not her fans. Give her a break. " Congradulations , Danica ! " |
