Yeah, quit your complaining all the time. Go to the track a few times read postings about who screwed who over and how they will boycott this track or that track, THEN you can chime in and complain about track conditions and car counts and whatever else everyone seems to b**** about! haha

Just joking deannalynn, if you're passionate about it do it, who cares what others think.

You gonna QUIT again...a little bit of adversity and your going to take your ball and go crying home...grow a pair..If your unwilling to stand up for yourself-learn from your mistakes-and grow...nobody will respect you..so I'll ask again ..you gonna 'quit'?

Im in the other boat. While I consider things like getting your BP all bent out of shape over the naming of something a bit overkill.

How dare you post a opinion on a opinions board? Especially that is on topic. ?

Keep on keepin on! and if you quit over a few, Then your going to miss out on the great people that are part of this board and the Indiana Racing scene. Many of whom have told me off a time or two, Many of them i have the utmost respect for as well, I often disagree with them but never miss a big *HELLO* at the track!

Im of the opinion, Say whats great about it as well as what was wrong. If it's something they can fix, They need to know. If they can't or won't. Theres other options! : If you knew what your were going to get before hand thats disappointing and get exactly that. You have nobody but yourself to blame.

But, there's the great thing about this type of racing crowd. You don't have to try to be someone or something else. If you're there (or here) for the right reasons (you love racing), just be yourself and you'll make friends. But, if you show up with an agenda (i.e. have an axe to grind with someone you knew or worked with in racing) or require to be the center of attention, people are going to be leery of you. There are hundreds of people who are friends because of IOW. None of them are exactly alike. Some as different as night and day. But they all love sprint and midget racing.

Two weeks ago it was a flagman and towtruck driver. Last week it was the babies in the pits and a pit announcer. Now they are tramping the women on the board. Way to go, open wheel racing dudes....

REH.........I had a nice conversation with Deannalynn this afternoon.......I am way ahead of you on that an she actually had the stones to call me.......never met me, doesn't know me but called to talk....maybe you posters that hide behind initials and monikers can learn something from her afterall.

People on IOW must not like to talk on the phone.....last year I put an ad on here offering up free 410 engines and some $$$ to get involved with a USAc sprint car team......and only 3 non-wing racers took the time to call and actually speak to me. I guess all the racers who cry poor were to busy to pick up the phone......the sport is going to the dogs and alot of what she says is true and everyone knows it.....they just don't like to be reminded of it. Its more fun to make believe everything is okay.

You mean like this guy?

............ but seriously........

Look, I had no axe to grind. I did, however, learn a few things that made me nauseous as I listen to some other "Children of the Corn" stories That's not what I want to write about, though. Good gravy, you think I'm bad for the sport? Me? Man oh man oh man!

Good for you Gene I am glad you are a man of your word and not someone blowing off steam. Keep up the good work. Oh sorry about about using initials but I am in the "witness protection game", besides if I used my name would it really make a difference?
