After the goofy act... David Letterman is one of the smartest men you'll ever meet.

For me personally, it is always funny to see how others complain about rich people not "GIVING BACK".... When someone does something bad....everybody knows about it. It sounds like people need to get there facts straight about Dave!! He gives a lot back to Ball State as iam from Muncie,In. He has give more than most people ever hear of. Another man does the samething and you know him as Tony Stewart! He has given a lot to people and foundations that we never hear about in the public!:checkered:

I have alot of respect for the him. I believe that he is a guy who left Indiana, but Indiana never left him.

Favorite sons are subjective. Although when giving directions it would be funny to tell people to get on the "Dave" and head south.

May be off the beaten path but my vote goes to a very important person from Dana, Indiana...Ernie Pyle. His efforts during WWII are two numerous to mention.
