For those that have gone before, is the whole backstretch general admission? Does it go up first come first served each day? Thinking of a Saturday trip next year. Also, can you for sure get into the building with a pit pass (do they limit pit passes)

They've never limited pit passes before, I doubt if they ever would
The non reserved seating requires a pit pass, it is in turn 2 only. It is first come first serve with no taping blankets or saving of seating. There are people who run for a seat when the door opens and sit there all day with their neighbor saving while you run to the bathroom.
Saturday's alphabet during the day is easier to get seats than Saturday night.
There are scalpers on the sidewalk out front with grand stand seats which I understand it's not as prevalent as it once was.
With all that said if you've never been............you just have to go. I'll be there tomorrow night and can't wait!!

Never had a problem getting a pit pass. Get there early on Saturday and you won't have a problem getting a spot in turn 2. Just make sure that at least one of you stay in that spot throughout the day to save it and you'll be fine.

Some other Info on GA seats, as it gets towards the end of the night the aisles will be full of people sitting in them, so plan restroom breaks and food runs accordingly as travel from your seat gets nearly impossible in the GA bleachers, especially if sitting up high. If you go multiple nights if you leave blankets/markers from the previous night they will be taken up and hung over the front rail of the bleachers for the next day and then you have to re-mark them each night. Can't stress enough get to know your "bleacher neighbors" as you will have to depend on each other the entire day to protect your turf in the GA bleachers. That being said an awesome event and just get there early and take in the whole day if only going Saturday as there is lots of neat vendors there at the show and make sure to take some extra t-shirt money as almost every driver there has one for sale to add to your racing wardrobe. Enjoy!
