I always turn at Stuckeys (Harlan Road) and take that to 159 to 46 to I70 when I go to LPS, but I thought someone posted on here that 46 is closed from I70 to 159. What is the situation?

The Birch Creek bridge is out on 46 before you get to Hwy 59, Ron.

That road is the major artery between Terre Haute and Bloomington. That bridge and the one over Eel River have been there forever and have needed to be replaced. They replaced the Eel River bridge last year or the year before and now they're doing this one. 46 should be good for a while. Unless they decide to White River bridge @ Spencer needs it, now.
