I hope that THAT can get some help from the local police with the traffic leaving the track ! When I was there during sprint week I spent hours trying to get onto 41 from the track. A traffic cop would be a big help.

Park in the turn four area, go out the back gate Go north or south then turn back east to 41

Park on the West side of the track by the pits. There is way less traffic exiting through that side. It will get you behind the mall, and there are a couple of different options to get on 41 from there.

Yes, but there's an easy detour. At the junction of 46 and 59, just go north on 59 to right before you get to the big curve, take Lower Bloomington Road (the first left you can take after going through Ashboro), take that west to County Road 250W. Turn left onto 250W and it will take you right back out to Highway 46 on the other side of the bridge that is out. It's a few miles, but it beats going all the way up to I-70.
