Other than having too much oil in the engine, what could cause the crankcase pressure to throw oil out the vent filter that is on the front of my injection?

Blowby. . . . . anything that will pressurize the crankcase.

What are we working on? A dirty filter will make it blo oil out, if it can't get air, it will get kinda messy, that is a 2 way street. Bob

Brand new engine, all new parts, clean filters, etc. Ran hot laps and heat race fine. Did it during "B" main within 10 laps.

Run a leakdown on all of the cylinders to make sure a ring didn't get broke etc. Also if it was too rich and the cylinders are washed out it can prevent good ring seal.

Did you put too much oil in it, or did it end up that way? You might have a scavenge rotor bad in the oil pump Bob!

Could be running rich, and now you have fuel in the oil. Check the oil level, and compare it to what you started with. Pay attention to the color of the oil as well.
