My Loss

I know this has nothing to do with racing or most of you won't have known him. But my father Fountain Kelley died Tuesday morning. He was 86 . If you where around UMRA in the early to mid 80's you would have seen him around my car. In the late 50's and early 60's he was part owner in a sprint car none as the Shelby T V Special. This was driven by Hugh "Lead foot" Randall. Hugh lost his life at Langhorne in 1963. Dad took me to my first race at the age of 12 days old. I ask for your prayers as we lay him to rest Saturday morning at 11 am. Thank You and God Bless You my Great friends. Love Tim Kelley

Tim,

Sorry to hear about your loss. I didn't know him but I am sure that he was a great teacher who inspired your racing endeavors. Though it is difficult now, I hope that sometime down the road you will be able to look back at all of the good times and smile on the way to a race track. RIP Fountain.

Tim, We have been good friends for several years now and though I never met your Dad in person, I talked to him several times on the phone and he was always a pleasure to talk too! I'm praying for you, T.J., your daughter, and the whole family!
