Farmer City Raceway will be running non wing sprints this Friday night as part of their weekly show. Promoting it as "The Best of Both Worlds", it will feature 410 non wing sprints, UMP Late Models, Modifieds and Street Stocks.
No tire rule for this event. Farmer City Raceway is considering adding sprints to their weekly program, so both fans, and cars are needed for a good showing. Sorry, I don't have any purse structure, start times, or running order to share. At www.farmercityracing.com and their Facebook page you can access contact info. I encourage anyone with questions to go direct to the source. The Fairboard promotes the races there this year. Mitch Wissmiller and I have been in contact with a board member name Lance. He is in charge of race track and is committed to fill the stands, and pits, with a combination that works. Hopefully this is the ticket they are looking for. |

As soon as someone hears about the purse for the sprint cars it would be great to share so they could get a better turnout.

I will be attending. It's close to home and to be honest way more racier than Bloomington or Gas City. Sure the pay is a couple hundred dollars less than local Indiana stuff, but I'm sure if it goes over well it will go up. They are taking a risk running sprintcars in late model country and I respect them for that. Hopefully some guys will show up so they will have more
