Back for the third year running, the micro sprint event everyone has been waiting for, Brad McDaniel and Addiktive Promotions LLC proudly present The National Speed Sport News 66 Mike Phillips Memorial! Once again boasting a $35,000 Feature Purse for Saturday night’s Main Event with the winner taking home a National high for micros of $10,000, The 66 has expanded its venue to the famous Belle-Clair Speedway of Belleville, Illinois! After two years at original locale SIR, it became bittersweet as the event had overgrown the facility and became restricted of space for fans, parking, pitting, and racing surface. So, for 2013, it was decided to take the race to the big stage, alleviating all prior issues and setting the way for what is certain to be the most exciting 3 and 4 wide micro sprint racing the world has ever seen! There are a lot of exciting announcements coming up over the next several weeks including partners, advertising, entries, and some special features incorporated with this year’s event. Another great new addition to The 66 with the involvement from National Speed Sport News (NSSN) will be the release of all 66 related news via web and e-mail blasts. NSSN is back with an all-new arsenal to make sure they are again at the top for racing news! Their monthly magazine can be delivered straight to your home, packed full of news, articles, and interviews from all areas of motorsports. NSSN is also utilizing a constantly updated webpage as well as daily e-mail blasts full of great reads! On top of that is their satellite radio show SPEED SPORT on FOX Sports Radio hosted by industry veteran Rob D’Amico. This means an overwhelmingly big jump in exposure for, not only The 66, but the drivers and partners as well! Find them on the web at www.NationalSpeedSportNews.com for the best up-to-date motorsports news as well as how to subscribe to the SPEED SPORT Magazine!

The sanctioning of POWRi again for this year will continue to be a part of The 66’s success and organization. The biggest name in micro sprint racing, Kenny Brown’s POWRi brings their entire crew, from the scorer’s all the way to the tow vehicles, to ensure smooth operation all weekend.

Another big part of this announcement is the release of Pre-Entry and Pit Reserve forms for 2013! A new addition for this year is the use of online entry and payment as well as the hard copy that is still offered. There is an extra $5 fee per online entry or pit reserve to cover the PayPal usage fees, for those that would prefer to do everything online. Pre-entry will be open through July 6 with a $50 late fee to all entries received after.
