I don't think I can give total blame to the 92 car. I think he was throwing the slider on the 88 car and if you watch the video, the 99 car pushes slightly that slows his momentum in that corner. When that happened, the 99 car comes off the cushion about a car width and has slowed slightly and the slider then is gonna be clear of the 88 car but no where to go behind the 99 car as it was not where the 92 car expected it to be. Yea if I was the 99 car i'd prolly be pissed but as an un biased observer, it's not a full fledge take out in my book...

Yeah the dude Clayton took out went off on Facebook. The dude was calling him every name in the book. It was such high school BS to go about it that way. It was a racing incident and nothing more.

Thank you for explaining EXACTLY what happened. I had no intention of sliding the leader. I wanted to split them i had plenty of time to get the job done on the leader next few laps.

I hate that it happened but you know it's happened to us all, if he had been railing that curb that lap the way he had the 5 before i never would have been close to having an option of attempting sliding him, but i was committed when i went to the bottom wide open to clear 2nd place.

The FB rant pretty much showed me what type character he was anyway no sense wasting my time talking to him or apologizing. I only say sorry to who ever pays the bills on that team, and i am glad no one got hurt.

Babb and Clayton both messed up. That's racing. If I was Korey I'd be pissed too, like Mike said earlier.

Did anybody else look at that and think that maybe a car had oiled or watered down the track on the top in between 3 & 4?.... Looked like Weyant and Babb both took a wicked push in the same spot, Weyant bad enough that he had to check up a ton and Babb bad enough that he ended up doing a "Joie Chitwood Thrill Show" style 2 wheel ride on the fence....NOt much that MDC could have done to avoid contact once he committed to the slider, and had the leader not slowed so drastically Clayton would have split then cleanly....that being said, MDC was the one with control of the wheel and the pedals in his car so it's still on him somewhat, and it sounds like he admits that and tries to apologize for it...

Nice car count for the class though...good to see that...hope it continues for them.

"MDC" Thank You for the great weekend of racing. It was an exciting experience being in Victory Lane with you both nights and especially since you had only hours to prepare for the weekend since we put the deal to team together at noon on Thursday for these next few weeks. Denise and I look forward to these next few weeks and are excited to help you do what you do best and that is drive the wheels off the car and get to Victory Lane. The video shown is a good video and shows a true racing accident that was unintentional. You had the entire field covered and showed it again by winning by a straight away after starting from the back and noone knew that your car was borke from the accident and should have been loaded on the trailer. The only sad part of the video is that where it replayed the accident it was edited and didn't show the entire scene that got the 99W team escorted out before the feature was over. Their actions toward you were very unprofessional and what noone is saying is that they paid the price for their actions. Good job in maintaining your professionalism during this on track push and shoving incident and keeping your head straight that our goal was to win the race, which you easily accomplished. Keep up the good work "MDC" we are happy to have teamed with you and are looking forward to more fun times on and off the track. Thanks Again and Great Job!!!

Also, good job goes out to Brandon Morin, a rookie driver who lives a few miles from me in Jasonville IN. for a 3rd place finish at Farmer City. Great Job!!
