Heading to Eldora tomorrow to camp for the races. Just wondering if there was a burn ban for that area if anybody knew. Thanks

Just don't let your wife try to build it, then you will be safe!

There has not been a burn ban issued for Darke County.

That's good. Let us know if anyone hears otherwise.

Just be careful when burning anything anywhere. IT is really dry (how dry is it?) It is so dry that the weeds quit growing. No, but really, make sure if you do have a fire, you have it out 100%. A town in south east Indiana was evacuated today when a field fire jumped the road and got close to the town.

Hey, we've got a lot of rain out here in Iowa that' we'll loan you? Heck. You can just have the stuff. I've had three rainouts in a five day period, and it looks like more this weekend. If I didn't have a paper to put out this weekend, I'd be heading to Eldora.

From the Eldora web site,
