I don't know what the row boat record is for either, but you could probably ck the websites for both, or either, and get a summary of times! bob

Two different sized tracks and completely different speeds.

I'll totally agree with the statment I've never had a problem seeing the track and action at the Burg, Eldora on the other hand can be waves of dirt

Chuck called this correctly. Two totally different tracks with the fast way around Eldora not being the fast way around Lawrenceburg.

Sometimes it is, however burg usually has many grooves. The night Fitz was running away till he junked it he was on the wall. Also Darland passed a middle running Gardner on the last corner of the last lap winding it up on the wall.

Fast way around ELDORA if your coming from the east would be 71 south in Columbus,if your coming from the west it would be 74 east in INDY:2:

In a recent interview, Dave Darland said that Lawrenceburg is the fastest track that they run on all year.

Last year after a race I had a "well known" driver talk to me for awhile in the pits. We shot the sh*t for a bit and he asked me about when track prep starts here, what all goes on during the week etc. He then stated about the speed here (Burg). Told me it is the fastest track he runs on all year. "Can't be as fast as Eldora" was my reply. He responded by saying: " The top end speed may not be what it is at Eldora, but I am telling you this place is faster! "
