I guess no coolers allowed in the grandstands.

You’d have to live in Snootyville to afford those prices

Having attended the first four USGP at the Circuit of the Americas I saw first hand the prices jump up. The track is out in the middle of nowhere and figuring out which county road to head down for parking was a total afternoon. We did scout it out a few days in advance. Long story short, we found a family who owned a field and parking was fifty bucks. Today that same field is three hundred dollars TO PARK.

Last time I was there, a baseball hat was over fifty bucks. I do not drink beer but my friends do and I think the beer was selling for seventeen dollars for 16oz.

IT WAS INSANE.

we quit going, they priced us out of the event. Circuit of the America's is a really, really nice track. Walking around that place is for young people.

I wonder what the prices will be for the 2nd story, open patio Denny's on the Vegas strip in November? The Grand Slam Breakfast will probably be $1329.00, not $13.29

I actually attended the Miami GP all three days this weekend. The prices you see in the link were in The Beach Club private suite area. The prices at most of the open to all places were about the same as any other major sporting event.

There were several food trucks located all around along with other concession stands. I ate at The Hard Rock Cafe stand and got a cheeseburger, fries, and two beers and my bill was $29. I didn't think that was too bad for the event I attended. You could purchase a 20 ounce aluminum water bottle for $6 and refill it for free at the many drink stations all over the grounds.

The souvenir stands were super expensive but the were packed with people buying all weekend. Baseball style hats were $75-100 t-shirts were $100 crew style F1 shirts were $120. I stayed at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino Guitar Hotel and they had F1 shirts in their gift shop that were the exact same as the souvenir stands at the race and I bought a t-shirt for $30 which is pretty much the going rate for racing.

Most amazing part of the F1 cars for me was how fast they could slow down from 210 mph. Nuts
