As you may or may not have heard, Perris Auto Speedway has come under fire. To hear the details, promoter Don Kazarian will be on the radio this afternoon "The Racer Radio Show" this afternoon to discuss #saveperris and what everyone can do to help. The show airs from 3:00 to 4:00 PM PDT and you can listen live online at www.kcbq.com or listen live on your radio if you are in the San Diego area at 1170 AM. Don is coming on at 3:45 (other PAS news about last night's race and the upcoming September races will be on starting at 3:30). Don's message is very important so if you have the time, please listen inland please share this post.

You can also check out the Perris Auto Speedway pages on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. And the website as well at www.perrisautospeedway.com. Even if you are not a local fan of the track, please go there and share the posts regarding #saveperris on your social media and call the officials listed to show your support. Thank you!

Here is the official statement Don Kazarian released on Saturday. Will post a replay of Sunday's radio interview as soon as it is on our website.

We aren’t going anywhere. The speedway survived during the pandemic. Now with the looming massive California Department of Water Resources Lake Perris Emergency Release Facility construction project on the horizon, state officials are trying to drive us out! We support their project but we need them to support our businesses. Nothing will make us move. We are fighting back. We are parked in Perris! We love this community.

#saveperris

If you want to join in the fight, contact your Local, County, State elected Officials, especially the Governor’s Office and ask them to help save the Perris Auto Speedway and Family A Fair Concessions on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds from the Lake Perris Department of Water Resources Emergency Release Facility construction project.

Governor Gavin Newsom Phone: (916) 445-2841
State Senator Richard Roth (951) 680-6750
Assembly Member Jose Medina (951)369-6644
Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Hewitt (951) 955-1050

Please share on all of your social media.

What's the realistic outlook for motorsports as a whole in CA? With the bill passed last week saying that 100% of consumer vehicles sold in the state have to be electric, I'm genuinely curious. They're going so far off the grid with realistic expectations I think auto racing as a whole in the state might be in the crosshairs
