Well it's true they have a track cut in! Hopefully a track with no concret walls, dirt that holds moisture and no 45 min redraw!!!

On another board, it is being said that the new track will be a 3/8 and will run on Friday nights.

Moler is about an hour east of there and runs late models. If this track runs sprints on Friday nights, it will be basically the same situation as Lawrenceburg and Florence on Saturday night. I think it would be wise to run a schedule with 10-12 races instead of trying to run every week, but it isn't my money on the line to make that call. If their track prep is good they will get cars, and if they get cars the fans will follow.

Haven't found out anything about this. The only concern I have is Edgewater usually has a test and tune on Fridays for the straightliners. But the Weinles have owned the track for quite a while so they must be doing something right.

Hope it's true. I will have a track 5 minutes away.

They could always move test and tune. I have a straightliner and our track moved from Thursdays to Wednesdays this year. I hope they run sprints Friday nights I'd like to check it out and that wouldn't be a far drive for me.

The track is roughly cut and it is a HALF MILE and the way it looks the one straight is right down the river with Trees five feet off the rim. From what Im told it is just a play around project for now with no definite plans.

And good luck running a Fri night SPrint car track. barely supporting one as it is.

Id run Sunday, Hotlaps at four racing 530, Sprints, LM's Mods

Love the gripe on the redraw when nearly every sprint feature has been done by 10pm this year. I do think it runs a bit long sometimes but it takes me that long to run to the Restroom anymore.
