Long story short sent a R1 starter out to be rebuilt when it came back it's turning the wrong direction.
How can this happen and what did they do wrong and how can I fix it ??
Thanks for any help.

They put the wrong brush plate in it. I've had it happen on bike and quad starters before where they sent wrong parts
