I know this is a sprint car Forum but it's been a hard year for race fans in general. Shane Unger has passed away due to injuries tonight at the world 100. RIP and prayers for your family

Thought, prayers & condolences to Shane & family
I've only been following dirt track racing for a little over 6 years now (after 40 yr. layoff since mid 1960s), the deaths this summer are giving me 2nd thoughts... however I just got my tix for 4 Crown.
Hope everybody will be safe

Although his death will effect less fans then BC's it's no less tragic.
That being said I'd encourage you to enjoy the races, circle of life. You'd have to stop living to separate yourself from it. Two guys just got killed a bit up the road on streetbikes, one hit a deer and the other crashed with him.
My point being it doesn't matter what you do for fun tragic circumstances happen.
