Past Champions Prevail at Knoxville

New York, NY, 6/5/08 – The Knoxville Highlights from May 31st feature 2 past champions looking for their first wins in 2008. In the 360 Knoxville Cup cars Josh Higday made it 2 in 2 nights for the Dwight Snodgrass car. On Friday Night Randy Smith took the car to Victory Lane in the Masters Classic. The car was even more dominant in Saturday's race as Higday outclassed the field.

The 410 Knoxville Cup race was won by non 2007 winner Billy Alley. Alley had a battle for the lead with Randy Anderson and held on the last few laps to take the win. Dusty Zomer again was impressive finishing in the 2nd spot. Lasoski and Brown battled side by side at the end for the 3rd spot. With the win Alley is back into the Championship Chase.

Remember the King Doodlebug and Knoxville Midget Nationals will be LIVE on racenetwork.tv this coming June 20th & 21st.
