Press Release:
Concord
North Carolina

The racing world is in disbelief as the sun rises over central Indiana this morning. Long time veteran racer David Lee Myers made a tentative announcement via telephone interview that he would be coming out of retirement to race once again.

The details are still sketchy, as the MMSA season draws to an end, there are only a few seats to fill and a few races to race.

The news broke Sunday after Dave Dispain said last week after the the filming of NASCAR live stated that he had heard a rumor that Myers may be piloting a car from a outside group, but as the rumor mill circles many believe Myers will reclaim a seat at his old team Bradley Racing.

The Scott Bradley 1x has been open all year due to a illness forcing Bradley to the sidelines for 2013. He fielded the car with brother Andy behind the wheel at the beginning of the season scoring some top finishes and one win, but was released after a viscous tumble at the Bloomington Race... " I was just trying to add a few laps to the race, didn't see the big deal" Andy Bradley was quoted after he drove the car into the winner after the checkers.

If Myers does drive the Bradley-Myers/Hoosier Speed/Wolfes Auto Auction 1x it will be his first time driving in years and many are worried about Myers physical ability.

Sprint-Midget racer and B class movie actor Kent Schmit quoted " those yard karts don't even have power steering , I bet Myers couldn't put ten laps together."

It will be interesting to see what develops from this developing story..

On a serious note Charlestown this Saturday is great track. You guys who have had your cars parked get them out come and race. Support the track so we can race there in the future! Thanks
