I know this is IOW,,so maybe most people will not know any of the material I'm about to put out but thought it was very interesting.. On Saturday Kalamazoo Speedway hosted there yearly Call of the Wild race,,Basically no rules, where people are allowed to try and run for the Worlds record at the 3/8th mile asphalt speedplant in SW Michigan. Well a multi time track champion Andy Bozell did just that, ran 9.465 or 142.6 MPH avarage. When he climbed out of the car he simply Yelled "Parked IT" I do not believe (although I could be wrong) Andy has ever run an open wheeled car nor raced against BC. But he did, run the thing in BC style WIDE OPEN. So there are many people that he touched in many different way, in many different classes,

I believe Andy has ran at Plymouth on dirt. I can't remember if it was a modified or 600.

Andy did have a ride in a midget at Kalamazoo back in 2003, the first year of the Wolverine Outlaw Winged Midget Series. It was a Pontiac powered Beast, he didnt get to start though, as the engine expired in hot laps. As I remember he was running competitive times before the explosion....

Here are a few clips of the car on the track. If little ears are watching the clip. The F bomb gets said a few times on the tape. When the wing sprints ran a few weeks ago at the zoo. I think the fastest was 125mph. Andy is a class guy and more then just dirt sprint car drivers know and care about the lost of BC
