Bill has made a change. If you look below the post, you will see a "like this post". If you click on it, it will do the same thing that the thanks button provided.

It has been replaced by a "Like" button at the bottom of the post. So many younger folks use facebook that they could not live without "Like"
But don't fret -- there is hope for those of us who are senior citizens such as Shortbus and myself. We have gradually learned to use Like buttons on facebook

Its essentially used on here as the same thing. I didn't think a word mattered that much. It will stay as is. Folks will get use to it.
