Here's some interesting archival footage from the early days in southern California for us old timers...and the not-so-old-timers out there too. I guess water trucks hadn't been invented yet. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting. Really good video and pretty neat cars. The push truck on the front stretch caught my eye as well. It was good to meet you at Cowtown last month, hope to see you at the track some time this summer.

Same here, Jeff. I imagine our paths will cross a time or two yet this year. Do you plan to take in any of Midget Week? If so, I might see you there. Happy racing! By the way, how's the fishing?

Fishing on Lake Fork was, let's say, tough. This time around, 1 night of practice and 2 nights of racing was a whole lot better than beatin' your brains out on the water. I just wished Daniel hadn't rolled the right front off the rim in Saturdays A-main.
