Making plans for ISW 2017, coming from Idaho. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Plan is to arrive Wednesday July 12th and catch the 2nd half of the week. Are all the tracks General Admission or can your reserve seats? How early should we arrive, can you wonder the pits and check things out before the races? Is it to early to be planning?
Thanks!

Have fun. Are you camping or staying in a motel? If you are staying at a motel I would stay in Kokomo The first 2 nights. That way you don't have to check out and wait until 2 or 3 to check in.

We'll be staying in Hotels, starting in Terra Haute and will just grab a Hotel in each town. What is there to do during the day between races?

You can get reserved seats for the final night at Haubstadt. More comfortable with a back on the seats. Phone # and info is on their website.

Most places GA is only $5 cheaper than a pit pass. But no you can't roam the pits before, sadly. Have fun

Gas City USED to let you go in the pits prior to the race if you bought a 50/50 ticket. They then would clear the pits out about an hour before hot laps. But do not take this to the bank unless someone can confirm it.

Did they do this for the events there last year?

I definitely agree. Doing the Speedway is a must. If the timing works out, you should do an extended tour. It is really great to see some of the places on the extended tour.
