Lets keep Joey, Shannon and the entire Saldana Family in our prayers.

Sounds like surgery was a success lets just hope for a quick recovery.

Joey was involved in a crash at Eldora. Pretty badly broken arm which needed surgery and also broke some ribs which punctured a lung .

Get well soon Joey

I was in Haubstadt for ISW, but i was told the multi-car crash at Eldora was a pretty gnarly one!? He was transported to Indianaplois hospital for surgery. After the surgery it was said that both bones in arm were shattered, which took 2 plates and 25 screws. Also had to have a chest tube put in for partially collapsed lung. Thoughts and prayers go out to Joey, his family, friends, and team! Speedy recovery buddy,....

Man, that sucks. I saw on the live updates last night that he was in a pile up and got out under his own power but was slow about it and was holding his arm. From that I never would have thought the injuries were that severe! Guess that goes to show how stubborn race car drivers can be. Will be wishing him a speedy recovery and hoping to see him back in action soon.

Have been and will keep praying for a complete and speedy recovery. Kasey gave some details about this earlier today and we started praying then. So sad, it was not even Joey's crash he got caught up in another mess.
