When I was a kid the start finish was on the backstretch and we had seats all the way around the track.
Just my opinion but I like it just the way it is and as a matter of fact I really liked the old track as it was a drivers track not a big hammer down hold your breath race track, The O'Connor family have done an amazing job with the Kokomo Speedway, everyone at Spencer Racing is thankful they came along to save our home track. Have a great day and tell them you love them while you can. Jerry #66j |

Most people already thought it was great. A 72 year old called me last night, and said it was the best race he ever saw. I gotta text from a guy who was with a group of 8 people from PA. They said the same thing. Saw a guy who posts on this board stop at the ticket window and try to hand the girls $20 saying he felt like he owed them more money. Maybe I should pass it on they should be miserable. It is for sure top 10 on my list, Maybe top 5.

The guy who deserves to win the race doesn't always win it, and I think it applies here. I have no problem with the race or the finish, I thought Thomas had them covered. I've watched about a million race's, and wanted a caution here or there to possibly help whoever I was rooting for in that event win. That's racing, a caution helps some and hurts some, nature of the beast. I truly believe that he was the class of the field, and we all can agree without a caution he wins. What I would have liked to see is what would have happened hadn't Hodges and Bacon ruined each others tires, cause they were going forward
