Clauson gets it done!! Hines 2nd, and Abreu 3rd. That was a great race!
Abreu is your 2014 USAC Indiana Midget Week champion!

Good night of racing; always enjoy the midgets at Kokomo. Track got dry and real dusty for about the last 10 laps of the midget feature and the sprints. Sprint feature was very hard to pass. Basically seemed like you had to ride that cushion and didn't have the options you normally do. Even if there wasn't much passing it's always fun to watch them boys take on a track like that. Looked like a treacherous cushion. Rare night where it was 10:30 by the time they finished the sprint feature. Had issues with the caution lights on the track- had a 20 minute + delay. Think they were running out of ideas from the look on the flagman's face who was fixing it. Anybody catch when they wanted to tow Bell in during the feature? I think it was Ballou standing on the fence who told the track official that it was something that could be fixed. They got it fixed. I was surprised he only got to 15th or so, but at least he saved them a few spots. Also, wanted to see what was your take on the group qualifying for the sprints tonight. Seemed like guys weren't going when the green came out, everybody got jumbled up. It just seemed unusual. Guys weren't getting to run clean laps like normal. The national anthem by the 4 year old girl (I think they said it was Chris Gurley's daughter) was awesome. Not perfect, but cute. It's amazing she even knows all the words. One of the most memorable Anthems I've heard anywhere.

It was Chuck Gurney Jr.'s daughter. Beat anything Carrie Underwood or Steven Tyler ever did by a long shot...
