I wanted to watch race monitor to see who it was moving before me in the dust. I suppose you could also ask how did we used to do without air conditioning too or cars etc.

My buddy has Verizon and had service all weekend. Sometimes slow, but service.

I have boost mobile which goes on the Sprint network. My phone was fully charged when I left in the morning, after two hours at the track searching for signal it was completely dead

Work makes me carry a cell phone, if I could find a place where I could hide, I don't know if I would ever leave.

I think you might have intended to say "suspicious" instead of "fishy" John :-)

Either way Marv it just seemed odd that 2 miles away I had 4 bars and nothing when I was there

at my camper at Lake Monroe in Bloomington I have signal in about a 5 foot square area, I doubt there is a conspiracy to keep you from having cell service

I got there on Thursday evening and I have sprint and I could do anything I wanted and on Friday and Saturday my phone would not connect to the internet much at all. But Sunday morning it was back to business as usual. I just don't get it! My phone was good on texting all weekend!

It is a dirt track and it was dusty towards the end. Same at all tracks, one nite great next dusty or just a little dust.
