I ased Susan to post that for me once I got to the track as sure enough after driving through a couple sprinkles on the way down. At 430 the clouds parted and the sun was brilliant.

What could be more popular than a Kyle Cummins Win?? Who is sorely missed and the car runs in memory of him?

DICKIE GAINES! In the Jason Soudrette Racing JSR John Soudrette #44 Winning from seventh starting. Beating Defending track champ Westerfeld who came home second.

Almost as popular was Joss Moffatt, Who started 20th after damaging his front end in the heat and finished 3rd Clinching the track championship!

JSR has been running Lawrenceburg for years Always seemed to start behind the eight ball and spent the night catching up. Coming from deep in the pack to often top fives. But the Win has been ever elusive. UNTIL NOW. Dickie started seventh. held his own early and once the track took some rubber. Started moving forward.

Landon Simon passed Andretti for the lead in the opening laps and those two, plus Diamato ran under a blanket untill about lap sixteen. At that point you could see Simons rear was loose as it was stepping out, exiting the corners. About this time Andretti Shredded a RR causing a yellow and bunched the field for the restarts. I think we had a yellow and a red on lap 19. The red came when Andretti and Hery touched with Hery ending up. Upside down on the fence, In a flip I didn't see happen as the racing for the lead was so exciting. Hery exited unharmed
Dickie wrestled the lead away on the restart on lap 20. Seemed to have command but a lap 23 yellow happened, Marking the drama for the final two laps. Westerfeld stayed with him but couldn't catch him and Moffatt who was in fifth at the lap 20 restart grabbed one on that restart for fourth then one more after the lap 23 restart.

Just want to say Congrats to all the champs and winners. And thanks for everyone who came out to race tonight and of course the promotors and crew of Lawrenceburg for another great night!
