Thoughts and prayers go out to the family, lets hope for a speedy recovery.

Cameron is like our second son. We have know him since 2002 when he raced his mini sprint at our race track Pike County Speedway. And through that he and his family became dear friends whom we have stayed in regular contact with to this day. My 9 year old son is runs his #37 on his mini sprint and my 13 year old daughter thinks the world of Cam so this is a very tuff pill for them to swallow.

The news of Cam's accident has deeply saddened or family. And we pray that he makes a full recovery. I know that Cam is a fighter who never gives up and I'm sure he is fighting as we speak.

We will be making the trip to Indiana early Saturday morning and will post any information we have permission to post. Privacy & respect for Cam and his family must be a priority through this terrible time.

I agree 100%. This is such a terrible shame just because of not buckling up.

I was in attendence at Iowa Speedway this year when Cameron won there. What a great victory lane, as it was obvious Cameron was very happy to win that race. Here's hoping he makes a quick and full recovery.

I'm sorry, but having worked in the newspaper field, I have to ask: Where was the speculation in that news story?
