I do remember that Audie wound up with the Herb Porter/Don Brown built Oakie Drout sprinter driven first by Bobby Marshman in USAC and then by Ross Smith to the 1966 Lawwrenceburg Speedway Championship. That was a great car.

circletrack40...what kind of a car did Audie run for your father. What was the number and where did they run?

Audie Swartz is my great uncle, I always remember as a child looking at all his big trophies and being amazed. He was my grandmother's little brother and she was so proud of him. We are starting my grandson into quarter midgets soon and I hope he will end up just as good as Uncle Audie was.
