It isn't a bad thing for anyone running or involved in a series to make some money but you need to get your eyes checked if you can't see that there a lot of people giving Powri money and it isn't going into the guys pockets that tow from all over the Midwest. It was 3,000 to win Sat night so what you do you think Adler got for 2nd maybe $900. It isn't the guys with all the money putting people out of racing it is the guys not paying fro the top 3 on back. The guys who make the show are the ones that don't always make it to the A-main or maybe 10th on back in the A. There is no reason it shouldn't be more to make the show in a midget or micro.

moore10, you ack like you dont even care that if you dont win you get hardly anything out of the purse? All i can tell you is there are a lot of angered people just bc of the factt that there are all of these new great sponsers onboard with the powri group and the money's being paid back has not changed!!! The one and only thing that has gotin better is Mr. browns racing fleet!!!. So open your eyes a bit.

I've made it very clear in my past and present postings that I'm for better purses. I've already discussed the purse issue with Jim Siner. You need to do the same.

Last year we ran 19 powri micro shows. won 7 and had many top 5s. At the end of the year we had earn aprox. $12000 and we never traveled over 5hrs to get to a track. Based on your weekly track purse i would have to have won a measly 60 feature wins last year to make that same money. Yea maybe you do have more money in traveling expenses, but your running if front of a packed house everyweek. getting to see new tracks and meeting new people all summer. I appreciate what kenny and jim are doing for the sport, they both work 40 hr a week jobs and bust there butts all winter and summer. you wont hear me complaining!
