Check with the cows, seems the entire time change fiasco was blamed on farmers, even though they usually start work in the dark and finish the same way. It's also nice on the 4th of July to start the fireworks about 10 o'clock.

Having moved to Arizona almost 9 years ago I don't miss Daylight Savings Time at all. I heard a good one out here about how an old indian had commented that the white mans daylight savings time is like cutting a foot off the end of a blanket, and sewing it on the other end of the blanket. It's still the same length! Surprisingly enough though the Navajo, & Hopi Indian reservations do observe daylight savings time in Arizona. Go Figure!

The reason we are on DST is because multiple large corporations paid our politicians to be on the same time as the New York Stock Exchange. They didn't want to get up early to check their stocks. Plus they could still play golf after work. 900 miles west of NY just doesn't make sense but the money has made it's wishes known.
