I plan to be there on the back straight again this year.
I don't know how many of these races I've seen. I think my first was 20 years ago. I haven't missed many. Over time, this has become my favorite race of the year. I can't hardly stand to miss it. I have many great memories of exciting Little 500 races. I'm not going to try to convince anyone that they should like the Little 500 as much as I do. Although I enjoyed the first time I saw the race, my passion for the race grew over time. But, I'm coming at it kind of opposite. I fell in love with sprints and midgets on pavement first and it took me time to learn to appreciate the dirt track racing. There's a lot of big names on the entry list this year! I'm very excited about it. |

This race also has a lot of people behind it for teams that absolutely fell in love with it as well. It pays really well. I think only the Oval Nationals come close and Im not sure about that. Many of the top names in dirt sprints will be there as well as several pavement specialist.

One race a year I never miss its far from a typical pavement race for the dirt only crowd it is the greatest short track race in the world period.

ISF, I've always paid attention to it as long as I can remember, and that goes back to the days when I would get home from school and ask Dad if the Speed Sport came. And I remember telling him we should go sometime, but the desire faded with pavements decline. As I said, it's definitely something I want to do some time but I just don't have the resources to go to every race I want to go to. I can only do so much so I try to prioritize. So not to get off topic too much on this thread, I'll start another about bucket list's. I hope everyone has a great time there and every where else this weekend! And remember those who paid the price so we can be free to go racing!

Last year was our first little 500 and our tickets are the same this year sec G row 13 seats 1@2.
Our plan to beat the crowd out after the race got over last year got messed up when they sent us out the back way. Being lost in downtown Anderson at night is a little scarey. I love Anderson Speedway and have great memories of all the races I have watched there over the years! |

Thinking about going for the first time this year, do you think there’s still decent seats still available?
