I think someone from the shady bowl track was on here (i.o.w) maybe a couple years ago was trying to get feelers to see if mini sprit / lighting sprints would be interested in running there.

Just got off the phone with Mt. Lawn Speedway and they are going to invite us to practice at the track on some practice days in April. There is a possibility of us getting some races scheduled if there is enough drivers wanting to race there. Was told the cost will be just $10 to get into the pits and practice. Once I get the dates I will post them on here. I will also be working on the rules for the pavement racing and posting them in the next few weeks.
In the meantime I am needing to know who all is interested in running on pavement so I have some ideas on number of drivers interested.

I am still working on some races. Been talking with several pavement tracks. I know there is some strong interest from the drivers and teams. Just need to find a promoter willing to work with us.

We in Illinois are not on DOT tires. We run American Racer slicks and they are an excellent tire for life and cost.

I have just been asked to see if there would be enough interest to be a part of this race. Please let me know on here or Facebook if you would like to be a part of this race. It will not be a huge purse and I am opening it up to all pavement midgets to be a part of.
