It just to goes show you how great Rich Vogler was. He won 23 more USAC races than the person that is second in that category. And the man in second is a USAC institution. And Rich was taken from us in his prime, when he still had quite a few years of winning left. Obviously, he was destroying the field in his last race. And how about Bryan Clauson? He left USAC to go winged racing at age 26 and is still only one win behind the great Pancho Cater.

This list doesn't include Champ Car (pre-Silver Crown), so it shorts AJ 67 wins if you count all USAC Champ Car wins, or at least 24 if you only want to include dirt wins.
Counting all 67 would give him 112, 2nd all-time. The 24 dirt wins would make the total 69.
I'm sure other driver's totals would be affected as well but I don't think anyone else would hit the century mark.
I think it's appropriate to include the Champ Car stats as the Sprint and Midget totals span the period before the Silver Crown was split off as a separate series.

This time right now could very well be the golden age of USAC.Four of the top 11 sprint car drivers are still active with 170 wins between them.Three active drivers in the top ten[260] in over all wins.Jones could probably figure in the mix as he just recently retired. The high level of equipment and drivers lends to competition that is fantastic.Where ever the show, Im hard pressed to pick a winner even on the last lap
