Generally when u go to a persons funeral the family of the deceased will have a list or 1 thing that person was passionate about or supported . They encourage people to if they so choose donate to this cause in the deceaseds name to continue /enhance the deceased love or support of said cause.
The family doesn't ask that u donate to themselves unless it is to defer incredible financial hardship brought on by a lengthy battle with an illness ,wich can b an overwhelming hardship for the surviving members of the family or guarantors of said liabilities .
I can't help but feel the ward family is pursuing a civil case for any more reason than the fact that some lawyer told them they "deserve it " and that it's there .
