OWNER INCENTIVE ANNOUNCED -
NIGHT BEFORE 500 MIDGET RACE AT LOR TO: ALL MIDGET CAR ENTRANTS RE: Night Before the 500 Midget Incentive Lucas Oil Raceway, bolstering its commitment to pavement Midget racing and the rich tradition of signature events like the upcoming May 24 "Night Before the 500" Classic at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, has created a unique incentive package for all car entrants competing in the May 24 Indianapolis event. As a result of the incentive, all car entrants competing in the May 24 USAC Pavement Midget race in Indianapolis will receive a free pit pass and two right side Hoosier Racing Tires. The entry fee will be $50.00 for this event, which boasts one of the largest Midget purses of the year at over $20,000, paying $5,000 to win and $400 to start. The "Night Before the 500" is among anchors of America's greatest racing weekend and serves as a fitting tribute to "Race Week" in Indianapolis leading up to the Indianapolis 500 May 25. A big thanks to LORP, Hoosier tire Midwest, and USAC for recognizing that sometimes owners need a nudge to get back to the track... Here's your chance if you're a STARS guy or maybe have a car with some dust on it to come participate in a historical race at one of the elite pavement tracks around. Racing isn't inexpensive by any means but the math is starting to make sense on this one... Two free tires, $400 start money, and a free pit pass.
Races are just like teeth, ignore them and they'll go away... come support and bring the neighbor kids and open their eyes to some excitement. Kids under 12 get in free! The town of Brownsburg is hosting a "rev rally" to introduce fans and kids to some of the cars and drivers on Thurs May 22nd at town hall... It's a little too late to making this nice gesture at this point. IMO.
It helps the guys planning on attending already though. Which is nice. They're panicking now cause they know there's not going to be a dozen cars there. If they want to revive pavement midget racing, keep offering this throughout the year. Not 6 days before the race.... |
