I Live 40 miles north, I'll post Friday afternoon what is actually going on with the weather if ya'll like, with out misleading you. Right now they really don't have a clue, go figure. Until Friday let's hope for the best!

Lazy Boy. Flat screen. Fireplace. Beer. College football. This wimp will avoid the weather by not dealing with it. The midwest apparently has a broad snow band for Friday and the man says 5-9 inches here in Evansville and all around these here parts. Everybody be safe and watch that "black ice" driving home Sat. night. Another storm is supposed to hit here Sunday morning and it's coming from the west so check that forecast and figure your odds. Gonna be cold out there, pilgrim.

I'm staying up late watching the weather and from what I can gather serious consideration should be given to postponing this event. This is being classified as a major event in some areas and southern IL and IN and KY are all right in the bullseye. It's simply not going to be safe on the roads and another icy event is set for Sat. night/Sunday AM. Power outages are apparently going to happen so I just hope the lights stay on and I'll be thrilled. Not my call but the crowd will really be hurt due to weather if they run it. It's a shame the weather hits this weekend but not much we can do about it. Best of luck to all in getting through this.

I could be totally wrong with this but my opinion is if anything happens saturday they will cancel it and not reschedule. Im hoping they run it. But if they have to do sonething its not like they can just schedule it for whenever. They have other events scheduled in there all month long. They might get away scheduling it later in the winter after the chili bowl since 50+already paid there entries fees but you would be taken a chance on the other ones not coming after the chili bowl as this is a race to prepare the non midget drivers.
