The only rain at the track today was around 1:00, and it was not enough to get the sidewalk wet. The haulers are all inside and things are looking pretty good. They announced the race was a go at 8:30 this morning after the intial rain went through.

I think Superduke checked out. He must of had to stop for gas and fill up with cheap gas on his way to Eldora.:O:

Not just that but I've mentioned before seeing the haulers going away from the track on bright sunny days and forcasted sunny days. At least the notified us early.

Chuck, who'd probably make the 170 mi trip more often if he knew they'd do everything possible to run.

The World of Outlaw sprint cars invaded Eldora Speedway on Friday night with Craig Dollansky taking the prize followed by Donny Schatz, Jason Sides and Kerry Madsen. Apparently the surface was in great shape since Tim Shaffer came from 23rd to place fifth overall ahead of Steve Kinser, Paul McMahan, Jason Meyers, Lucas Wolfe and Tim Kaeding.
