My favorite memory of this track and one of my favorite racing memories, period, is the year Jesse Hockett beat Dave Darland in a near photo finish. Then, on the cool down lap, Jesse came barreling out of turn 4 towards the flag stand and launched into his Flying Donuts. Everybody that was in the grandstands that night will never forget that.
