Don't forget we will also induct 5 drivers tonight into the USAC "Hall of Fame"
Drivers, Jack Hewitt, Tom Bigelow and Tony Bettenhausen, race organizer Earl Baltes and USAC official and driver Henry Banks will share the spotlight in Thursday’s pre-race ceremonies. Hall of Fame programs will be available for sale at the track! |

Radar is looking a little scary. I always have hope though. Hope to get up there today. It'll be my first Hoosier Hundred and first Silver Crown at a mile. Should be fun.

USAC has nothing to do with whether to cancel today. It's all up to Bob Sargent. Just wanted to set the record straight for all the ignorants.

Really had plans not to post anymore, but really hate to see the O'Conners and Bob Sargent get shots taken at their events because they are affiliated with USAC. Bob and the OConners are in the business of race promotions, they are not one off promoters, they understand the importance of an "Event" and lifelong fans. They are at the top of the game in track prep, pre-race promotions, and "fan friendly, well run events. They want you to enjoy this event so you will come back. SO, do not let negative comments prevent you from attending one of their events, it will be ran smoothly and on time. They will only cancel if the weather dictates it.
A race promoter loses money when they cancel an event, they are out advertising, man hours, wear and tear on equipment...ect... Imagine working all week and on Friday your boss says, weather bad, everybody go home, and .. no pay this week because we did not get finished??? Then when you quit that job, do not go into race promotions because it happens to them all the time!! |

Aw, come on and smile. They just did this to screw with Mother Nature and that they have. If it would have been a regular Friday date and got rained out, no chance of a reschedule. All is well is Silver Crown land.
