Tony announced Monday night after weeks of nobody wanting to run a wing that 35 Raceway from here on out is non-wing every Saturday night.....So anyone wanting to run come out me and about 5 others want more cars.....I am new to the track my second year, but there are a good core of 5 or 6 drivers, that are not into tearing each others stuff up, we just want to race. So pass the word and hopefully we can get the car count and purse up to where we all can have fun and some of us profit. Thanks

Is this a 1000cc class? What are the weight and tire rules?

Pit pass is $25.00. They do require a "competitor's license". If you just run one night, I believe it is $5.00. The competitor's license is $20.00 for the year.

The class is open to any size engine...600, 750, or 1000. Im sure the air cooled 1200cc cars are welcome too. There is a weight rule for 1000cc engines, we haven't been there since non-wing (blew our engine), but it was 900 pounds for 1000cc cars and no weight limit for 600 - 750cc cars.

Tire rule is Hoosier tires on all four corners with an SP-2 on the right rear.

It is a 1/5th mile track that will be as smooth as any track you have ever raced on.

Gates open at 4:00 with racing at 7:00. $10.00 general admission.

Tony Boetcher (the promotor) is open to suggestions on ideas of how to build the car count, so give it a try and offer suggestions.

Their web site is www.35raceway.com

I am not associated with the track, I just live close and want a place we can race our Lightning Sprint.

Thanks,
Neil

Car count is sketchy. Anywhere from two to nine.
