It was announced at Eldora banquet last night that USAC has added a date at the track on July 28. New GM Roger Slack stated there would be a big announcement associated with the race coming in the near future. The NRA 360 sprints and stocks are also on the card that night.

I need to keep a watch on this date. Sure would work good for me and stop at Kokomo the next night for the Bob Darland Memorial since it's on our way back to cheeseland.

Oh no! And I bet my beer is gonna be cold and and my tenderloin from turn 1 is gona be hot, and if I'm there with my pop and my daughters I'll just barely manage to enjoy myself...

Now with less sarcasm - the 360 shows that I've seen there have been much gentler on the track than the winged 410s. The Outlaws sure can work the dirt harder than the 360s.

As always, to each their own.

The date is July 28th and that means it will be HOT which might not make for the best track conditions, i don't think the 360's and taxi's will hurt the track much. My comment isn't a slam against Eldora either, the end of July most likely will be hotter than a .

The same race weekend in 2010 was as heavy as I've ever seen Eldora for many, many years! It wasn't too hot either! Maybe we will get at least one of the two this season!
