How many laps?
HOSS sprints and MSA supers at Mansfield this was always the question. In a match race the late Joe Rebman beat the supers by quite a distance. This was ten laps. No RR tire could have lasted 100 at that pace. Blonde gets my vote. |

I think the bike laps will be most interesting....wondering if they will put hay bales or Tuff blocks out for it?
They (all the different vehicles) all will be E ticket rides! |

offering my opinion......i think the supers will be real fast and think that they have good drivers in them for this stunt. mike litchy will surprise some and brad will hammer down i`m sure.....my question will be the weight of the cars running......i`ve seen the lighter cars sometime have that little advantage and with the new tires can sneek out a best lap....will be interesting and about time some exciting racing story has got our attention this winter.

Just to clear up any confusion that might be out there. It is my understanding that all the runs are to set World Records in their respective catagories, as well as setting an all time Bristol Motor Speedway track record. It will not technically be a "who's faster than who" type of event, but rather to establish the records and then bragging rights. Every entrant will run their own laps 1 at a time, and I would have to assume at this point, they will be running in a qualifying type setting (ie: 2 timed laps with maybe one warmup lap). I am not sure the exact procedure according to Guiness, but I am sure we will find out Friday before the practice session so the cars can practice in the manner in which they will be competing.
All that being said, my rundown looks like this; Jason Blonde Mike Lichty Bryan Clauson Brad Noffsinger Scott Russell (Superbike) Marcos Ambrose David Ragan (provided he doesn't go out before Marcos and walls the Mustang) |

Jason Blonde!
We are going to run the time trails at Must See Racing legal weight which is 1600 lbs car and driver. Sure we could take off at least 250 lbs, but we didnt see this as a run what you brung event. We are leaving the lead, bumpers and nerf bars on the car. See what happens.. Suellen Wilshe - Biobased USA |

OK my confusion, I thought it was for beating a Bristol 4 tired speed record not a Guiness book deal thats cool man. If their is no holds bar on restriction then Jason should take weight off, less weight in corner will probably help but then again what do I know.. I'm just a big dummy. Jeff
