While I hate the thought of ISC reconfiguring PIR, their current scheduling choices mean PIR will not see any of my money more than reshaping the track would. I haven't attended a Nascar race at PIR in the ten years I lived in the valley of the sun, so unless they bring Indy cars, USAC or the Copper Classic back PIR has seen the last of my money being spent there.

I raced out there many times and always looked forward to going. It broke up the Winter and it was great to get out of the weather for the most part. Always stayed on Wayne Weilers farm for the first five days of the visit. We all went out to dinner each night and ran lots of laps at the table. Leland McSpadden and his wife were always always good company to be around. Lots and lots of good times back then.

Nascar is going down,and they are trying to take all other forms of racing with them.JMHO.
